Patrick Janssens
Assistant Trainer
Originally from Belgium, Patrick joined the kennel in
2002 after gaining experience working in Ireland with top
trainers Matt O’Donnell and Pat Dalton. Patrick
has been one of the major influences in the kennel’s
success and has been Mark’s Assistant Trainer for
the past two years.

Pete Vernon
Head Kennelhand
Pete also joined the kennel in 2002 after working for
two years with Pat Chambers and has contributed immensely
to the success of both Linda and Mark. He was voted
BGRB Kennelhand of the Year in 2005.

Jemma Oliver
Jemma Oliver is our youngest full-time team member who
started work for us in June after completing her exams
at school. As you can see from her 20 questions, Jemma
is keen on horses!

Sid Huett
Sid is Linda’s nephew
and has been working in the kennel since 2004. This
is Sid’s first experience of working with greyhounds
and he is one of the most enthusiastic and popular members

Cheryl Tillett
Cheryl is a recent appointment at the kennels. As
well as being Patrick’s girlfriend, Cheryl has loads
of experience working with Spencer Mavrias and Tommy Wade. Read

Sandra Love and Chris Heald
Sandra is invaluable to the kennel as our regular Parader
at Walthamstow Stadium and Chris also provides valuable
assistance when required. |

We also rely heavily on our part-time staff at the Lakenheath
kennels:-
Ronnie Smith, Gemma, Steph and
Darren. |

Ron Mills - Our
team is completed by Sports Massage Therapist Ron Mills
who has worked with the kennels since the early 90s. His
weekly visits have played a crucial part in the kennel’s
success over the years.
