RACE RESULTS
(Opens to a third party website)
I hope everybody enjoyed reading our complete Review of 2018 with our website awards etc that is now up on our Guest Column. It certainly takes plenty of work to compile but I do enjoy going through our highlights and it makes you realise how busy we are each year and what we achieve, the day when it only takes a short time to compile will be the day we are no longer successful!
That was our only open racing of the week and I enjoyed the first table update for the Trainer of the Year standings where we topped the charts with 17 points thus emphasising what I said when guesting on RPGTV on New Years Day that points scored in Category 1 and 2 competitions is what gets trainers into the top 6. The semi finals of the Coronation Cup on Friday have worked out reasonably well (for a change) and our runners will have no excuses if they don’t qualify for the final.
Whilst on the subject of RPGTV the welcome news that the show's sponsors have done a £100,000 package to 10 major events throughout the year is fantastic for not only those tracks concerned but the industry overall. 2018 won’t go down as a vintage one with the devastating news that Towcester closed and the contributions from the bookmakers to the sport again down on the previous years, they are still squabbling about paying money from online turnover and profits made from bets from Greyhound Racing so at least this package is getting something from them.
Our Henlow year started reasonably well when Algo For You took an A3 from behind in 28.53. On Friday morning we had three winners from four runners. Towstar Evita won well in an A10 by 4 1/2 lengths in 28.46 nearly feeling the wrath of the stewards! there was a cracking run from puppy Droopys Cruiser, who learnt from his first race defeat, he blasted out to a 3.69 sectional to win an A6 by 8 lengths in a very good 27.89. Acting School made it a treble when winning another A6 in 28.38.
On Saturday we had one winner when Towstar Del Boy led off the second bend to win by 2 3/4 lengths in 28.49. We drew a blank on Sunday with Swift Windmill and Garryglass Teddy coming closest when second.

WHAT’S ON NEXT WEEK
There should be another decent card at Romford on Friday where three high class semi finals of the Coronation Cup are the feature.
Hopefully there will be some opens filling at Henlow on Sunday.
WEBSITE RECOMMENDED BETS
Well our bets feature carries on in 2019 by popular demand and its not surprising as we showed a 99 point profit on all bets in 2018 which is incredible given the fact 5 points is our maximum, and you get these for free lol!
It’s all good fun and we do only provide selections for people to have a bit of fun with and as always with gambling only bet with what you can afford to lose!
Brigadier Bullet recommended at 7/1 for the Coronation Cup has a great make up in Friday’s semi final and must have a decent chance of making the final a week Friday. We have all five of our entries through and I won’t lie all of them are not without a chance of also making the final but there’s not much value to be had now.
ADVISED LASt WEEK
BRIGADIER BULLET - 2.5 pts each way 7/1 - Coral Coronation Cup - Romford - semi finals Friday.
