My wife and kids. All sport. Preferably together.

MOST MEMORABLE SPORTING OCCASION EXPERIENCED

Any Greyhound Derby Final but Lauries Panther, Moral Standards and Westmead Hawk (twice) stand out. Ashes victory at the Oval. Chelsea at the old Wembley or Stamford Bridge every other week, especially nowadays!

WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU DO OUTSIDE GREYHOUND RACING

Work in boxing. Or any form of sports PR.

YOUR FAVOURITE GREYHOUND OF ALL TIME

Too many to mention or single out. The obvious probably - Ballyregan Bob, Scurlogue Champ, Westmead Hawk.

BEST GREYHOUND YOU HAVE EVER SEEN

Jimmie Lollie or Ravage Again.
STANDARD
Phantom Flash, Premier Fantasy or Westmead Hawk.
STAYER
Ballyregan Bob

FAVOURITE TRACK

Hove

BEST RACE EVER SEEN

THAT semi final.

BEST DERBY EVER SEEN

Moral Standards. Anticipation was all. He preceded the Hawk, remember. Moral Standards proved it could be done.

CAN WE GET WALTHAMSTOW BACK AND HOW IMPORTANT WOULD IT BE FOR THE INDUSTRY

The greatest story in the history of gryehound racing. Is that reason enough?

IN YOUR OPINION WHAT MISTAKES HAVE BEEN MADE AS TO THE REASONS WHY GREYHOUND RACING HAS BEEN IN DECLINE OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS

Too many. But I will throw in poor prize money and precious little encouragement for owners/trainers ad breeders for starters.

HAVE YOU ANY SUGGESTIONS THAT COULD STOP THIS DECLINE

Make the above feel special. Then their greyhounds would become special too. It's a PR exercise in many ways. We are bereft of any PR of note.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST APPEARANCEON SKY AS A PUNDIT AND DO YOU STILL ENJOY IT TODAY

Misspent teens and 20s causes memory loss. I really can't remember, but I think it was Catford late 1990s. I did do a supertrack broadcast with Errol Blyth in the mid 1990s on SIS which would be my debut in that sort of thing. I have the video and will sell copies for a fee! We have both improved I hope.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE TRACK TO WORK AT ON SKY

It was Walthamstow. Belle Vue would go close now . So much potential.......

HOW IMPORTANT IS SKY TO THE SPORT

Essential. Any TV exposure with betting is vital.

WHO'S THE LAST TO PUT HIS HAND IN HIS POCKET WHEN IT COMES TO BUYING DRINKS AFTERWARDS

The Duck!

HOW MANY TROPHIES ARE CHELSEA GOING TO WIN THIS SEASON

Four. Sorry - three now.

ANY OTHER OPINIONS ON OUR SPORT

My worry has always been that the powers-that-be really have no power in telling promoters what to do. They can really only suggest things, or advise. That is a concern long-term and should be tackled head-on.
