Striking fawn dog out of Toms The Best bred and reared in England by Barry Bolton. Purchased by Simon Wooder after a promising puppy open win at the Stow he promptly won the Nottingham Puppy Classic before going on to break Walthamstow's 640m track record when winning the V.C Invitation race and was then runner up to January Tiger in the Grand Prix at his home track. Recently returned from a three month break to famously win the Monmore Stud Book Trophy beating dual Derby champion Westmead Hawk and in his next race won a Derby Trial Stake at Wimbledon in a flying 28.69.

This powerhouse blue son of Top Honcho came to us unraced last year and after some promising trials went straight into open company. After making the Videx Puppy Final and the Semi-final of the Puppy Derby Final at Wimbledon his finest moment came when brilliantly winning the Romford Puppy Cup final in November to give Evan Herbert a second Category 1 success. He was the leading points scorer for puppies in the juvenile standings and came fourth in the curtain raiser at the start of the year. This year 'Rocket' finished third in the Pall Mall at Oxford but injury will prevent him from taking his place in this year's Derby.

Recent purchase for the Champagne Club 'Merlin' has done well for his connections reaching the Ocean Trailers Puppy Final at Walthamstow and the Paddy Dunne Memorial Puppy Trophy at Henlow and looks to have a bright future. His early pace should stand him in good stead and he looks a versatile and likeable sort that can hold his own in open racing.

One of the most improved bitches in the kennel Gavin Cheeseman's Genesis Risk Solutions Partnership's brindle since being stepped up in trip has won a stack of races from 640m to 835m and takes her chance in the T.V Trophy at Yarmouth. 'Spear' has recorded 39.66 for 640m and a fast 53.04 for the 835m and could be in the winner's circle for a good while yet.
