'James' has only raced in open class in his career to date. He brilliantly won the Ocean Trailers Puppy Stakes final at Walthamstow in April in a sensational calculated 28.36 and won the puppy race for our team on the Trainers Championship meeting at Hall Green. An early casualty in the Derby he came back to form with an excellent 3rd in the Eclipse final at Nottingham in November. A few little injuries have held him back slightly but he looks set for a top 2008.

Monty Eaves' son of Droopys Veiri has risen to top grade over six bends and has managed to win a maiden open over the trip. Still lightly raced he has been sidelined for a couple of months with injury but is due back in action later in January.
