Top class open racer who came to us in August last year and proved what a great dog he is by winning a £3000 open at Walthamstow on the Victor Chandler Celebration night. Veto contested the Eclipse Final at Nottingham before some scintillating runs en route to winning the Category One Essex Vase at Romford. This year Veto has claimed his second Category One when romping home in the Emerald Cup at Coventry and looks likely to contest this year’s Derby before he is stepped up to six bends with Romford’s Champion Stakes and Walthamstow’s Grand Prix in mind. He remains John Keefe’s No 1 in the kennel.

Ali started his career in the puppy grades at Walthamstow last year before bursting onto the scene with a scorching 28.78 in a P5. This year he has achieved a great deal more with 9 out of 11 open race wins, his only defeats coming in the Zigzag Puppy Championship at Coventry in January and runner up in the important Monmore Puppy Derby. Sporting Dogs, who now own a string of nice dogs in the kennel, are headed by the enthusiastic John Jeffery and, like Ali, the syndicate is heading for a bright future. Ali particularly looks like he could be quite special when stepped up to six bends.

This well-bred progressive bitch came to us last year via the Jimmy Fenwick/Centaur Stud route and after struggling to find her form a seasonal rest did the trick and she has rattled through the grades winning S1s and opens at the Stow and also a nice 750 metre open at Romford. She looks a bitch to following in any races this year and Gavin Cheeseman who heads the Genesis Risk Solutions partnership remains a keen owner looking for more success this year with his Genesis prefix.

A beautifully bred young dog owned by Lockdale Coins Ltd headed by Daniel Daly who just came into the sport last year and they have four lovely greyhounds in the kennel. Duke made a promising debut when second and duly won his second race in a nice 29.34. He looks to have a promising career.

Grand servant to the kennel who has reached the veteran age but still runs in good company. The Saracens Head first dog with us, Tom is as enthusiastic as his owners and has won plenty of opens as well as graded races. In his last few races before hanging up his paws Tom would like to add a Veteran Open title to his name before retiring.
