About the Competition

It's simple - which of Mark Wallis' greyhounds are going to win most races between now and the end of the year? Pick your team (to include at least 1 bitch) and follow their progress on line. The leaderboard will be updated regularly and you can see how close you are to winning that first prize!

During September you will have the opportunity to change any or all of your team (still including at least 1 bitch) for the second half of the competition.

If you think you need some help have a look at Mark's comments on all the competing dogs which are displayed on the Guest Column.

Entry is free and can be made either via email or post.

First prize - table for 4 at next year's Trainers Championship meeting

NB: In the event of a tie there will be a countback on number of wins, if there is still a tie the first prize will be shared.

PLEASE READ THE RULES OF THE COMPETITION BEFORE YOU ENTER

Entry is free - you can make up to 5 entries but each entry must have a different team name.
You must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
The organiser's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Employees of Imperial Kennels and their immediate families are not eligible for entry.
Entries can only be made via email to the website or on the Postal Entry Form.
All entries must be received by 30 June 2010.
You need to select 4 dogs and 1 bitch from the list of greyhounds - View the list here.
After 3 months you may change any or all of your selections (still including at least 1 bitch) and these selections will be entered from 1 October 2010. If no changes are advised by 30 September 2010 then the original selections will continue to be entered.
Points will be awarded as follows:

Plus bonus points:

SP of less than 5/2
0 points

5/2 up to less than 5/1
1 point

5/1 up to less than 10/1
3 points

10/1 and over
5 points

The competition will run from 1 July 2010 until 31 December 2010.
